Chris Leary – Managing Director, Clearbrook
Understanding motive is the art of investing. As a Senior Advisor to Clearbrook, Chris provides a broad range of investment services and guidance on a global basis to help clients create unique value drawing from his experience in consulting, research, capital solutions and specific transactions. Within that arena, his passion focuses on the ESG tsunami.
Chris has proven experience in valuation, risk mitigation, global economic trends, marketing and most importantly listening to investors specific needs. He believes success is an iterative process of looking for synergy with a multitude of checks and balances, surprises and lessons that end up defining what made a success – how and why. This has increased in significance as there is no shortage of capital, but the critical ingredient is the creative and futuristic thinking to match the “money to the motive.” Chris understands that focusing on the motive is the art of investing, while the less enlightened follow the science of capital.
