Elliott W Wislar is the CEO and founder of Clearbrook, a diversified asset management company headquartered in New York, NY with offices in the U.S., Norway, and Asia. Clearbrook provides discretionary and non-discretionary investment advice and customized investment solutions for institutions, family offices and other institutional clients.

Under Mr. Wislar’s leadership, Clearbrook’s accomplishments include:

  • Grown the firm to advise and manage over $12 billion in assets for Endowments, Foundations, Family Offices, Corporations and other Institutional clients.
  • Selected as a strategic advisor to one of the largest banks in the PacRim
  • Building multiple successful relationships with large conglomerates and prominent families throughout Malaysia, South Korea and five South American countries

Prior to Clearbrook, Mr. Wislar held senior executive positions in marketing and distribution with UBS, Fleet Bank, United Jersey Bank, and The Boston Company, a division of The Bank of New York, Mellon, where his accomplishments included:

  • Assisted in growing the Institutional Asset Management business for Fleet Bank from $6 billion to $226 billion in AUM within 11 years including participating in five bank and an asset management complex acquisition
  • Developed a business concept working with a 4-Star United States Admiral which was eventually sold to the Boeing Corporation
  • Developing strong relationships with governmental entities, and the venture capital community

Elliott’s family immigrated to the U.S. in the 1660s and settled in the Boston area. An avid sailor and ocean racer, Elliott has served on numerous boards and charities, which include President of the Board for the Newgrange School of Princeton and Head of the Investment Committee and Board member for the Sacred Heart School of Princeton. Elliott is active on social media including Facebook,  Twitter and Pinterest. He is also a prolific blogger.

Elliott received his BA in Political Science from the University of Arizona and received his MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and has completed Advanced Management studies at the Kellogg School of Management.
