Clearbrook promotes 3, including first CIO

Three executives have been promoted at Clearbrook LLC, said company spokeswoman Rosalia Scampoli.

Timothy C. Ng, head of research, was promoted to chief investment officer. He was replaced by Mark Hong as head of research. In addition, Jay Tubianosa was appointed chief risk officer.

Messrs. Ng’s and Tubianosa’s positions are new. Messrs. Hong and Tubianosa were senior research analysts within Clearbrook’s research team. They will retain those responsibilities.

Mr. Hong will oversee all aspects of manager and portfolio research for clients. He will report to Mr. Ng. Meanwhile, Mr. Ng will continue as chairman of Clearbrook’s investment committee and set the strategic direction for all investments for the firm’s clients, including non-discretionary, discretionary and outsourced CIO accounts. He will continue to report to Elliott Wislar, CEO.

Mr. Tubianosa will be responsible for identifying and managing risk across all client portfolios and Clearbrook service offerings. He, too, will report to Mr. Wislar.
